Governor Schwarzenegger's Healthcare Proposal:
Dream Solution or Tax Nightmare?

The Breakfast Club was held on April 26 at the Town & Country Resort to
discuss Governor Schwarzenegger's healthcare proposal. The panel of guest
speakers was moderated by Gregory R. Zinser, the CEO & President of Anasthesia
Management Professionals (standing in the far left).

The panelists for the discusion were (from left to right) Ted Mazer from the San Diego
County Medical Society, Steven Escoboza from the Hospital Association of San Diego
and Imperial Counties, and Patrick Shipley from the California Restaurant Association.

The April Breakfast Club forum was a first time event for SDCTA. It was developed as
an opportunity for members and taxpayers to be informed and educated about current
issues that affect the San Diego region.

The Breakfast Club provided an opportunity for attendees to not only hear from experts
in the healthcare industry, but also to interact with the panelists by asking questions and
discussing their concerns with them.
