12th Annual Golden Watchdog & Golden Fleece Awards Dinner
Vegas glamour abounded at the 12th Annual Golden Watchdog & Golden Fleece Awards Dinner, which was themed "Taxpayer Roulette." Walt Ekard, CAO of the County of San Diego, made an appearance as The Fleece to provide enterntainment for the evening with his satirical song.

This year, Barry Newman received the "Grand Taxpayer Watchdog Award" for
his twenty-five years of service to SDCTA. He is receiving the award from
Lani Lutar and John O'Neill, the chairman of the Board of Directors.
The Fleece is all smiles, ready to kick off the program with his infamous sheep song. Standing next to him are Lani Lutar (left) and Dinner Chair Kimberly Hale (right), and of course, the gorgeous showgirls.
