SDCTA Oppose Proposition P - Encinitas Union School District Bond Measure
SDCTA opposed Proposition P, the Encinitas Union School District $44.2 million school bond measure. The District failed to meet key provisions of the SDCTA Bond Support Criteria, including providing evidence of the District's ability to provide funding for the ongoing maintenance of the buildings once completed, as well as providing clear language to voters (within the ballot resolution) of the projects intended to be completed at each campus. Furthermore, SDCTA questions the District's planned development on District-owned property.
