SDCTA Opposes Proposition A: The Encinitas Right to Vote Amendment

This measure would require voter approval of General Plan amendments and specific plans, adding an unnecessary and costly step to a process that already allows for extensive community input. Land use planning decisions ought to be made by policymakers, not at the ballot box.
