Taxpayers Association and Taxpayers Educational Foundation Recognize Key Community Leaders

Democracy is fragile, and hard work and civility sustain the community

San Diego, CA (December 1, 2022) – At its “Celebration Of, By, and For the Taxpayers” at The Loma Club last night, the San Diego County Taxpayers Association and its research and educational arm, the San Diego Taxpayers Educational Foundation, jointly recognized numerous members and community leaders for their notable contributions to the community.

Of note, the San Diego Taxpayers Educational Foundation recognized Drew Moser, the executive director of The Lucky Duck Foundation, with its inaugural Award for Civility. This new award recognizes an outstanding community leader who has been able to work on regional matters in a civil manner that is constructive in the midst of various and adversarial interests.
