Press Release: Winners Announced for 29th Annual Golden Awards - November 2025

SDCTA hosted its annual Golden Watchdog and Fleece Awards on November 12th, 2025, after a year of transitions and rebuilding for the organization. The Association honors multiple government agencies for effective and efficient uses of taxpayer dollars, as well as private individuals for holding local government accountable through excellent reporting. SDCTA also presents awards to agencies for “fleecing” taxpayers with wasteful and inefficient use of monies.
