Haney Hong, President & CEO   A husband, Reserve Naval officer, business owner, and student of citizenship, Haney Hong is President & CEO of the San Diego County Taxpayers Association. He is focused on robust citizenship engagement and firmly believes that such engagement is the first line of defense against internal and external threats to a healthy democratic society. Haney is a graduate of Stanford and Harvard Universities and sits on several nonprofit and government boards on the East and West Coasts. He teaches at Point Loma Nazarene University, the United States Naval War College, and the University of California San Diego.

Lupe Flores, Operations Coordinator & Executive Assistant   Lupe graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science  from CSU San Marcos with a minor in Border Studies. Before joining SDCTA, she interned for Los Angeles City Council and volunteered for non-profit organizations such as MANA de San Diego, Border Angels and Encuentros Leadership Academy.  Although she is originally from LA, Lupe is looking forward to making San Diego her home and to positively contributing to the efficiency of its public sector in any way that she can.
