School District Roundtable: Bonds, Transparency, and Construction Industry Insights

Join the San Diego Taxpayers Educational Foundation (SDTEF) for a half-day convening built specifically for San Diego County school district leaders — trustees, superintendents, CBOs, facilities directors, Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee members, and anyone with an interest in local education.

Over one focused morning, we'll work through the three things most likely to shape your next bond cycle:

-GO Bond Basics & Updated 2026 SDCTA Criteria — what's changing, how bonds get structured and approved, and what successful recent applications had in common.
-Oversight & Transparency — the Taxpayers Association Transparency Report Card criteria, CBOC best practices, and practical tools for monitoring bond performance after the vote.
-Construction Industry Update — current market trends and cost pressures, project delivery method trade-offs, and the KPIs that tell you whether a bond program is actually on track.

The morning closes with a panel Q&A so you can bring your district's specific questions directly to subject-matter experts.
