SDCTA Opposes Proposition Z: San Diego Unified School District $2.8 billion School Bond Measure

The San Diego County Taxpayers Association (SDCTA) is opposed to Proposition Z because the District has not demonstrated its ability to manage taxpayer dollars prudently. Since passage of Proposition S in 2008, the District has expended bond expenditures inconsistent with SDCTA principles and has not fulfilled commitments made to the Association regarding the management of the Proposition S bond measure. In addition, the District has consistently displayed an inability to address its structural budget deficit.
