2014 Update and Comparison of the Region's Upcoming Pension Costs
*Report was corrected on March 17, 2014 to account for revised pension cost for City of San Marcos in FY 2014 Eleven of 17 cities in San Diego County will see an increase in pension payments in the upcoming fiscal year. The 17 cities have a combined pension debt of close to $800 million and annual costs per household as high as $572, according to a new analysis by the San Diego County Taxpayers Association.
