Proposed Standard for Public Good Accounting and Reporting in Street Outreach Services in Homelessness
The SDTEF-led Public Regional Outcomes Standards Board, alongside its working group of experts in macro-level outcomes reporting in homelessness services in San Diego, has released its first exposure draft on a standards proposal for Accounting and Reporting in Street Outreach Services. The purpose and intention of the PROS Board itself is to facilitate a collaborative and consensus-based approach to determining regional standards on the reporting of outcomes and data in public services, beginning with the crucial area of homelessness services provision and funding in our region. This particular proposed standard exists to address a community acknowledged need for ensuring that reporting in organizational-level homelessness outreach is consistent, namely in the proper reporting of encounters including the collection of data necessary to proper outcomes reporting and total systemic outreach efficacy.
